Serial Poem
Intervention carried out at San Vicente beach, in Mallorca, 2003.
The project consisted of creating a serial poem out of nine words repeated in various sequences and stamped on the wet sand using nine 30 x 70 cm wooden stamps, one for each word. The stamps have a long handle attached perpendicularly to the plane of the stamp, allowing one to write on the beach by pressing it into the sand. The result is a sort of written rug that will eventually be erased by the passing of time, the waves and the wind.
The 9 words were: PLENA/MAR/LAS/OLAS/BATIENDO/ES/EL/PUENTE/AMOR.
