I was invited to take part in a symposium to support the people of Western Sahara. There, on the ground of the only building in their refugee camp, I did something similar to the intervention in Khan Assad Bacha, in Damascus, but in this case, substituting the containers of blown crystal with paraffin and wicks for plastic bottle ends with water and oil, in which I placed floating corks with a wick incorporated into them, like those sold in Spain to improvise little candles on All Souls Day.
